  • All guests must register at the Site Office on arrival.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
  • Check-in is available during designated reception hours.
  • Late arrivals: If you expect to arrive late, please inform the site in advance of your arrival date.
  • Bookings will only be held for 24 hours from the latest check-in time on your scheduled arrival day, which is 6:30 PM.
  • No refunds or discounts will be issued for bad weather, late arrivals, or early departures.
  • Pitches and units will be allocated on arrival.
  • Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds: We understand that plans can sometimes change. To help everything run smoothly for all our guests, we’ve set out the following guidelines around bookings, cancellations, and amendments.
  • Making Changes to Your Booking: Pitch Types: Once booked, we’re unable to switch you to a different pitch type. However, we’re happy to help with date changes (within the same pitch type), as long as this is done more than 21 days before your arrival.
  • Changes Within 21 Days: Unfortunately, we’re unable to make any amendments, including date changes, within 21 days of your arrival. This helps us manage bookings fairly, especially during busy times.
  • Cancellations & Refunds: A £15 admin fee applies to all cancellations or amendments made outside the 21-day window.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If you need to cancel your booking within 21 days of arrival, we’re really sorry but we’re unable to offer a refund.
  • In the event of a no-show, the full amount paid will be forfeited.
  • Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds or discounts due to:
    • Bad weather
    • Late arrivals
    • Early departures

If you’ve paid your deposit plus part or all of the remaining balance, no refund can be issued for any amount already paid.

  • Force Majeure: The campsite accepts no liability and provides no refunds for events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, road closures, emergencies).
  • We’ll always do our best to ensure all facilities and services are available during your stay. If something is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we really appreciate your understanding; refunds can’t be issued in these cases.
  • No changes can be made to bookings within 21 days of arrival.
  • For amendments outside this period, please contact us directly as early as possible.
  • Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times.
  • Dangerous dog breeds, as defined in the Dangerous Dogs Act (e.g. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa), are not permitted.
  • Please respect fellow guests by keeping radios, music, and TVs at a low volume.
  • Car doors and boots must be closed quietly, especially during quiet hours.
  • The management reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate stays for inappropriate behaviour without refund.
  • Maximum of 2 households per booking.
  • Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tents, motorhomes) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Group bookings of 3 or more adults (excluding couples/families) are not allowed.
  • Stag/hen parties and large single-sex groups (3+ people, not immediate family) are prohibited via Pitchup.
  • The site is ideal for families and couples – other types of groups are not accepted.
  • Electric hook-ups require a cable of at least 10 metres in length.
  • Guests must pitch tents/units as directed by site staff to maintain safety and site layout.
    • Barbecues are allowed but must be raised off the ground and supervised by an adult.
    • Open fires are strictly prohibited anywhere on the site.
    • If you’re using a disposable BBQ, please do not place it on the garden tables or directly on the grass. It can burn the grass and damage the ground beneath. To prevent this, a portable camping BBQ stand must be used when using any BBQ on-site. These stands are easy to use and widely available, including on Amazon.
