Lovely camp ,clean , friendly staff , very helpful full.
9/10
Very clean and well kept campsite. Some of the pitches are a good size and some closer together. The river is very nice. Lovely countryside walks just behind the pub which is next-door. Also, some more challenging hikes within walking distance. I didn’t find an easy way to dump Gray or fill my water because the faucet wasn’t near me. Good black dump.

On arrival very, informative by staff and friendly. Pitch was large with outlook on river, very nice hearing water, so nice to swim in. Toilets and showers very nice, wash area clean. Great facilities, pub round corner.

Great location and a cracking little site, beautiful stream/river running alongside camp great for a dip or paddle on a hot sunny day. This won’t be our last visit!

Excellent location with very friendly staff! The toilets and shower facilities were immaculate! We even had free WiFi at all the pitches!!!
10/10
Cleanliness of site, bathroom blocks laundry and the pitches. Managers were friendly and approachable and accommodating, as we did not want leave and were were able to extend our stay without any problems. Was even able to borrow a manly hammer!
The staff work extremely hard, we noticed on a few nights they had to return for different reasons and they never appear to stop, maybe worth investing in more staff.
Perfect location, plunge pool in river.
Small post office and shop nearby in Eskdale this has limited hours. Further afield in Seascale there is a pizza shop, co op and chinese takeaway. Please take cash, although there is a cash machine this was out of order on a couple of occasions.
I accidentally broke my wrist and west Cumbrian hospital also was good!
We will be going back and trying to figure out when, these guys need a round of applause for the superb running of this site! See you soon guys!

Lovely site, lovely people. Grandchildren had a ball playing football and messing about and fishing in the beck.
